Re-reading this today, I suddenly made a connection with a recording of my big-bellied actor Scott that I rediscovered recently. What triggered me was "A trap that shoots you in the belly?" In the conversation tape I found, there are numerous instances of him describing himself getting shot in the belly...with arrows, gunshots, rifle and bayonet etc. Scott was very aware of how he used his belly in his acting, because he had the physical ability to really suck it in and especially stick it out way more than most guys. When we filmed scenes he got it in the belly 95% of the time so he could show that ability off. But I noticed on this tape several lines where he really seemed to relish describing himself getting shot in the belly: "So you're talking about shooting me THROUGH the belly?" "I guess I'd be getting the bayonet shoved in my gut, and the gunshot right in my belly. I'd feel the impact of the bullet ripping through my guts just above my navel." "So you wanna just shove the gun right in my belly and pump me in the guts? "I guess the tip of the sword would go right in my bellybutton, and the blade would run clean through my belly. I'd be taking a foot of steel right through my guts. I'd look down and see the sword sticking straight out of my belly." So I'd be back against a tree, and he'd shoot me with an arrow right in the guts, just under my navel. I can feel the arrow clear through my guts into the tree. He lets me have a second arrow right in belly, straight through my navel. I grab at my belly, and he lets go another arrow. I take this one straight through my dick and right into my guts...so he's pinned my dick right to my belly I'm left hanging on the tree, and I look down and see the arrows quivering in my gut, my cock and my belly." "A spear? Aw man, I'd have to get that right in my belly. Like he'd ram it right in my belly, like right in the navel, and run me back against the wall. That way I could surge my belly in and out while I'm hanging on the spear." "So it's like an execution, except they're only shooting me in my belly, like right around the navel. I'd feel each bullet like a punch hitting me right in the belly. Then the last one he walks right up to me and sticks the muzzle of the rifle right in my belly, right in my navel, shoves it in hard so my belly folds around it,and pumps me right through my belly about five more times. I think one of the things I loved about Scott talking is that 90% of the time he would say "my' rather than "the". And if he was talking about someone else, or me, he would use a possessive pronoun as well. In other words most of the time he would talk about himself "getting shot in my belly" "I get stabbed in my guts". "The arrow goes right through my navel into my guts" etc. If someone else, it would be "I'd run him right through his belly", "I'd fill his guts full of lead" or "I'd pump a slug in your dick, right through your dick into your belly."
I love all of the videos you made with Scott. The position of his belly button is so inviting, like a bulls eye on his wonderful belly. I could watch the arrows&spear clip over and over again!
Thanks. I really enjoyed spearing him there. Originally that scene was just supposed to be him getting the two arrows in either side of his guts and dying. After shooting a couple of versions of that, I got the idea of adding the spear. It made sense, with his hands busy clutching the arrows that he couldn't block or avoid the spear. When I first met him and had conversations with him before we ever filmed anything, he was much slimmer, but even then his belly was his preferred target.The first scene idea he ever suggested to me was getting bayoneted in his gut just under his navel, then being shot so the bullet rips into his belly just above his navel. My favorite scenes to film with him were the ones where I simply stabbed him in the belly and guts 5 to 7 times. You could tell he loved to take it there over and over, then take a long time to play out his death with his belly heaving and convulsing with the knife jutting out of it.
